Essential Care San Jose

At EssentialCare we know that the success of our business is dependent on the skill, knowledge, and compassion of our caregivers. We take pride in the quality of our caregivers and equip them with the traits necessary for them to give the superb service that we stand behind. This is first accomplished by requiring successful completion of EssentialCare’s proprietary training program. In addition, all caregivers must complete fingerprinting and background checks and must submit a prior work history review. Each caregiver must also be cleared physically to complete each task that the job requires.

We are dedicated to providing the highest quality of care and service in the industry whether the need is just a few hours per day or total 24-hour daily care. When developing a care plan, we will discuss all the various needs and concerns you have for your own care or the care of a loved one, and from there, create a completely custom tailored plan that will suit your every need. We look forward to the opportunity of serving you and your loved ones.

We are available 24 hours a day, every day.

Please take a moment to read a brief note from your Area Manager

From the age of twelve I knew that I wanted to become a nurse. My Grandmother lived with us while I was growing up. She developed a leg ulcer and required a district nurse to clean and redress her would every other day. The nurse allowed me to help clean, and bandage my Nan’s wound. From that time I knew I was going to become a nurse. After I qualified I worked in various fields of nursing, finally settling into renal nursing as a dialysis nurse. My focus now is caring for those in the community needing assistance whether the need is great or small. It is my pleasure to meet and chat with seniors, getting to know who they are, to create a care plan allowing them to remain at home living a dignified, comfortable, healthy quality life. My goal is to be able to provide the best caregiver’s possible; this we achieve by continually updating and training our caregivers. I feel our seniors have a lot to give, I love learning from them. Our goal is not only to keep them safe, but to also bring some laughter and joy into their lives.

My mother also suffered from Alzheimer’s. As the disease progressed mum needed some support at home. Sadly, the care she was provided was below standard, and we all suffered because of the issues we had to endure. My goal is to make sure no one else ever has to suffer the way my mum did. Everyone should be treated with love, kindness, dignity and respect.
