Amada Senior Care – Katy/Cypress

Troy and Amy Tice, owners of Amada Senior Care Katy, are dedicated to providing outstanding care that makes life safer, easier and more enjoyable for seniors in their community. After building Amada into one of the largest and most highly rated senior care companies in North Houston, the Tices are dedicated to enhancing senior care options in Katy.

Working with Dr. Nimesh Patel, a practicing internal medicine physician who has a passion for post-acute elderly care, just made sense. His practice is dedicated to caring for the elderly and making sure they are well taken care of in the community. He continues to see his own patients through the healthcare process to insure continuity of care. Dr. Patel grew up in the area and he’s passionate about giving back to his hometown. Prior to his current practice, he served as a volunteer at Memorial Hospital Southwest in Southwest Houston. He later attended Houston Baptist University and graduated cum laude in 1998. After completing medical school, Dr. Patel worked in Cincinnati as a hospitalist physician for two years before returning to Houston in 2006 to begin his internal medicine practice. Dr. Patel believes that physician participation in healthcare entities has a direct and substantial impact on improved quality care and outcomes. He provides professional insight and expertise in quality-of-care issues from a physician’s perspective.

Dr. Patel and Troy and Amy Tice share a love for the Katy-Cypress area and the motivation to serve local seniors and their families. Says Dr. Patel, “This is the community we grew up in and that our families live in. Our kids go to school here, our parents live in the area, and I feel it’s our responsibility to take care of our seniors and make sure they are safe and secure in every environment.”

At Amada Senior Care Katy, we look for ways to make simple, everyday tasks special. Our in-home caregivers not only take care of daily essentials like cooking and cleaning, they also go above and beyond to make clients smile. At Amada, we know in-home senior care isn’t just about performing tasks on a to-do list. It can be hard for seniors to accept new limitations and open their home up to a stranger. Our caregivers understand that it’s essential to show compassion and to truly connect with clients to make the transition to care easier.
